Dear members and friends of Pikler International,

 

As part of the Public Daycare project (Kassel, Germany), Brazilian artist Graziela Kunsch organised a program around the Piklerian pedagogical approach, titled "Olhar Pikler / The Piklerian Eye". 

 

The last event will happen simultaneously in Zoom, Kassel, and Sao Paulo. Anna Tardos and dr Mária Majoros from the Pikler® House, Budapest, will be speaking on September 24th by Zoom. The lectures will have a live audience at Kassel listening to the German translation, a live audience in Sao Paulo listening to the Portuguese translation, and an international audience by Zoom, who will be able to choose between Hungarian, German, English, Portuguese and possibly Spanish. Only people who neither live in Kassel nor Sao Paulo can attend this Zoom channel.

4pm (CET) Lecture by Anna Tardos: Emmi Pikler and photographer Marian Reismann, two pioneering personalities

 

15 min break: excerpt of the film "Manu's free motor development", Graziela Kunsch, 2019-2022

 

5pm (CET) Lecture by Mária Majoros: The Role of Documentation in Pikler’s Pedagogy 

 

The two guests will speak Hungarian and there will be simultaneous translation into English, German, Portuguese and possibly Spanish (Spanish yet to be confirmed).
